Clark and Sacajawea- the Untold Love Story

November 5th, 2002- The love of my life suggests that we write a book together, so we sit down and start writing our first romance novel. It's so much fun working on this project together. He came up with the idea and characters while I first write, then type as fast I can.

November 9th- My love inspires me with his thoughts. The words are now coming much easier than I ever imagined they would as we take turns imagining scenes together. Drawing on many of our past experiences and personal feelings, my fingers can't type as fast as our minds are working.

November 20th- The first three chapters of the book are nearly completed and I'm very happy with the results. My boys are excited that I'm writing the book as long as I don't get carried away. Yesterday I got so wrapped up in writing that I forgot about making dinner. Finally my little one came in saying he was starving. I recalled telling them just a few more minutes and that was hours ago.

January 26th, 2003- I spent all day working on the book. It's going well!

January 31st- The past few days flew by. We are spending our days working on the book or looking at other properties and projects. We always seem to be working on so many projects at once that it sometimes seems like we don't ever have enough time to focus on our book.

March 12th- So much has happened I haven’t had time to write in the diary! The yacht show in Miami was so much fun! The book is coming along even though I'm only spending an hour or two on it each day.

March 29th- Worked on the book a few hours today, but I feel I need to make more time for it.

April 15th- We worked many long hours this week writing our book.

June 19th- While traveling today, I worked on our book while flying on the plane. When I arrived to be with my love, we spent hours sitting around a campfire talking about the book, adding details to new scenes, and expanding on the theme. My love added details about the river rapids, and other action scenes. Writing this book together means so much to us!

July 31st- The book is much more work than I ever thought it would be! I'm so busy with family and other work related things that I haven't had much time to work on it. It seems like my love has spent hundreds of hours adding to it this summer. It's over 80,000 words now.

September 30th- The summer flew by! Now that fall is here I hope to have more time to complete our book. My love has been doing nearly all of the writing and editing for months now.

November 20, 2003- I'm thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas nearly every day. I love the holiday season! As the end of year approaches, I look forward to the coming year with great hope and anticipation that the book will be well received when its completed. Our marketing mentor thinks we should begin selling the first three or four chapters of the Clark and Sacajawea story over the internet. My love and co-writer likes the idea, so we decide to make them available here for our readers to order online once the book is ready for release.

December 2003-June 30, 2004- Many long hours are spent by my love rewriting and completing the end of this wonderful story. Countless revisions are made.

July 1, 2004- The first four chapters are released to a small group of critics and are met with wonderful reviews!

August 11, 2004- Registered Clark and Sacajawea - The Untold Love Story with the Writer's Guild of America.

September 30, 2004- The first four chapters are released to the general public over the internet at UntoldLoveStory.com. Please click on the link below to get your copy now!
